Why drink Kombucha every day?

short answer:  you need to look after your gut health everyday and Kombucha is pro gut.

longer answer: "good things take good time", as the saying goes and our health is no different. Reversing the effects of overly processed foods, antibiotics and "western diet" - high acid, salt, fat etc, takes time and consistency.

{for those who thinking they don't eat processed foods - if it didn't grow on a tree, rise from earth or get plucked from the ocean - its processed}.

Because Kombucha is a living fermented probiotic derived from tea ( in our case organic green tea ), its gut loving bacteria line the digestive tract and support your immune system enabling nutrients to more easily be absorbed and fight off infection.

80% of your immune system is located in the gut

After fermentation the sugar has converted into a little alcohol (approx. 0.5% - equal to a ripe banana) which helps your body be nutrient ready. The scoby (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) creates the functionality of the drink - Gluconacetobacter, Acetobacter, Lactobacillus and Zygosaccharomyces, B vitamins and enzymes known for cellulose production which acts as a shield to cells. (aka protects your cells)

Often touted as having anti inflammatory properties, antibacterial and being an antioxidant, Kombucha has been around for thousands of years and featuring prominently throughout history as a health elixir.  I'm not sure about helping to prevent or cure cancer (GT Dave is convinced), I do know that it helps me with inflammation and I feel great when I drink it daily. #drinkferments #haveagoitcanthurtyou.
